Dr. Rakhunde holds an impressive set of qualifications, including an M.B.B.S degree and specialization in FCR and D.Card (Clinical Cardiology). He completed his training at the renowned Asian Heart Hospital in BKC, Mumbai, further enhancing his knowledge and honing his skills in non-invasive cardiology. His vast experience allows him to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients, encompassing areas such as 2D ECHO, TMT, cardiac ICU, and the management of diabetes and obesity. Prior to his current role, Dr. Rakhunde served as an Intensivist at prestigious institutions, including P.D. Hinduja Hospital and SR Mehta Cardiac ICU in Mumbai. He also served as the in-charge of the Preventive Cardiology Department at Asian Heart Institute, where he implemented innovative strategies to promote heart health and prevent cardiovascular diseases. As the former COO and chief Intensivist at Ultracare Multi-speciality Hospital in Nagpur, Dr. Rakhunde demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Recognizing the importance of preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation, Dr. Rakhunde founded Life Standards, a state-of-the-art center located at Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri (W), Mumbai. This center focuses on promoting preventive cardiology, offering cardiac rehab programs, and providing health fitness solutions. Driven by his passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Rakhunde earned certification from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness specialist. Moreover, his keen interest in management led him to pursue education at the prestigious IIM (Indian Institute of Management). Currently, Dr. Roheit Rakhunde serves as a Consultant in the Cardiology Department at Orange City Hospital and Swami Vivekanand Hospital in Nagpur.
